everyday eyes primer
Step 1:
The first step to really lock in all of your natural radiance and enhance the makeup's features would be to apply a base coat primer. we recommend using Bare Minerals Prime Time Foundation Primer base coat and primer. It has a "barely there" feel but it never ceases to amaze when eye shadow and liner never smudges or fades.
Step 2:
Next take an everyday eyeliner (in the Into to Eyes kit it is the Bare Minerals Big and Bright Eyeliner in Granite)very neutal colors, like brown or gray work best because you don't want to look like you are wearing too much makeup. Define the eye before adding any color shadow. Begin lining the eye on the outside of the corner and working you way in towards the nose.
*Beauty Tip* Always start with the more awkward eye to complete; if you are right handed always start with the left eye.
Step 3:
Now take your eyeshadow in the desired color. Usually it is best to find a very muted, or matte color for an everyday look. Start by applying the eyeshadow at the outer corner of the eye and work inward toward the nose and inner corner of the eyes. By doing this, you will be applying the most pigment at the outer edges which will make the eye appear larger.
Step 4:
Here is where the look all comes together! By using mascara, you redefine your eyes making them appear larger and more awake. in the example kit from Bare Minerals they use Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara. Take the mascara wand and wiggle it back and forth from root to tip for the top lashes. This should provide an even coat.
*Beauty Tip* NEVER pump the mascara wand, this creates air bubbles which encourages clumping.
If your mascara smudges eaisily then the formula you are using is too wet.
